Charlene (Rapp) Hendrickson

Charlene Rapp Hendrickson, 97, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 2, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family and Eden Home Health & Hospice.

Charlene was born January 23, 1927, in Rigby, Idaho, to Wallace Richard Rapp and Louise Ritter Rapp. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby and Roberts, Idaho, graduating from Roberts High School in 1945.

On January 1, 1948, she married Norris W Hendrickson in Roberts. Charlene and Norris made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they raised their children, Jorgena, Ron, Kita, and Jay Dee. Charlene also worked as a yellow cab driver.

She enjoyed fishing with her husband and her girlfriends, traveling with her best friends, and family card games, especially Pinochle and Bridge (bless your heart).

Charlene is survived by her daughter, Jorgena Hill of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Ron (Diane) Hendrickson of Mesquite, NV; daughter, Kita (Curtis) Byington of Ririe, ID; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Jay Dee Hendrickson, one brother, and three sisters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
