CHARLENE EMPEY IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Charlene Michelle Empey, 28, of Idaho Falls, died July 12, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1976, in Idaho Falls, to Paul Ray Hitz and Judy Ann Fearnow Hitz. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Linden Park Elementary, Eagle Rock Junior High and Skyline High School. At the time of her death she was working toward her Degree as a Surgical Technician. She married Jadon John Empey, son of Rob and Marlene Empey, on September 27, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved being a mom to her son, Shawn Martin Campbell, and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, four-wheeling, bowling, and cleaning everything in sight. Surviving are: Husband: Jadon John Empey, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Shawn Martin Campbell, Idaho Falls, ID Father: Paul Ray (Julie) Hitz, Las Vegas, NV Mother: Judy (Kay) Johnson, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Josh Johnson, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Paula (Kevin) Ellis, Idaho Falls, ID Grandmother: Coy Hitz, Idaho Falls, ID Grandparents: Ralph & Betty Fearnow, Idaho Falls, ID Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 16, 2004, at Christ Community Church, 5742 South 5th West, with Pastor Sam Petitfils officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday beginning at 9 a.m., at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Christ Community Church, 5742 South 5th West, Idaho Falls, ID, 83404. There will be a memorial placed in her honor at Fielding Memorial Park at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
