Chalet Johnson

Chalet Irene Johnson, 37, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 14, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a year long battle with cancer. She was under the care of OneSource Hospice. Chalet was born February 13, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Clifford Lon Johnson and Katherin Ann Clark (now Thieman). She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and attended Bonneville High School, then graduated from Lincoln High Schools. She was active in dance in high school. When she was 16 Chalet met Matthew Clements and she and Matt spent more than 14 years together. They lived in Idaho Falls, where they raised their daughters, Sophi and Jessica. Chalet worked in accounts payable for Kyani. Chalet had a heart of gold and loved everyone. She enjoyed camping, decorating, spending time with family and friends, and being a mom and aunt. She always saw the best in others and made the best of every situation. Chalet is survived by daughter, Sophi Bella Clements of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Jessica Clements of Moore, OK, and her son, Grayson Walker; brother, Jacob (Teisha) Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID, mother, Katherin Ann (Jim) Thieman of Idaho Falls, ID; father, Clifford Lon (Jan) Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Natasha (William) Robinson of Wichita, KS, and She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lon & Bessie Johnson and Irene Clark, uncle, Verl "Stick" Johnson, and cousin, Eric Phillips. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., both at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
