IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Cecil Dale Follett, 65, of Idaho Falls, died October 26, 2009, at his home.
He was born October 11, 1944 in Idaho Falls, to John William Follett and Mary Cornellia Ross Follett. He grew up in the Ririe area where he attended Ririe Elementary School, Ririe Jr. High, and Ririe High School.
He served his country for 24 years in the United States Army. He did two tours during the Vietnam War. While in the service, he traveled all over the world. His most favorite duty station was Ft. Gordon in Augusta, Georgia.
He was a life member of the VFW, DAV, and the American Legion.
On August 7, 1981, he married Bonnie E. Storer in Aiken, South Carolina. Cecil enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daughter: Robin (Charles) McCracken, Idaho Falls, ID
Son: Travis Follett, Spearfish, SD
Brother: Guy J. Follett, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Bud T. Follett, Wendover, NV
12 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two half brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Thursday evening and one hour prior to services, both at Wood’s. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Memorial Veterans Team and the Idaho Honor Guard.
