Catherine E. Mansfield - 11/28/2001 Catherine E. Mansfield - 11/28/2001 CATHERINE E. MANSFIELD Catherine Estella Mansfield, 77, of Idaho Falls, ID, died November 27, 2001, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications of surgery. She was born October 14, 1924 at Idaho Falls to Noral O'dell Brown and Edna May Christensen Brown. She was one of ten children. She grew up and attended schools in the area graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1942. She married George W. Mansfield on October 10, 1942 in Idaho Falls and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked for many years as a T.V. Salesperson for a local jewelry store. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in numerous callings which included Cub Scout Leader, various positions in the Primary and Young Womens organizations, Relief Society President and other callings in the Relief Society, Ward and Stake Missionary, and as a missionary at the Temple Visitor’s Center and the Bishop’s Storehouse. She enjoyed her church callings, spending time with her family, and loved hearing her grandchildren call her “Little Ma”. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Bowen Huntsman officiating and Tom Albaugh conducting. The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
