CATHERINE ODELL "KATIE" CLAYTON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Catherine “Katie” Odell Clayton, 84, of Idaho Falls, died May 20, 2002, at her home. She was born June 9, 1917 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Clency St. Clair and Adaline Wright St. Clair. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Eagle Rock grade school, Idaho Falls High, University of Idaho and University of California in Los Angeles. She married Joseph E. Clayton June 12, 1940 in Santa Monica, California. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her life was her family, and she enjoyed playing tennis and golf, skiing, horseback riding, reading, and playing Cribbage, Casino and Rummy. Surviving are:Daughter: Susan Jo (Clayton) Cargo of Idaho Falls, IdahoSon: Joseph E. Clayton, Jr. of Richmond, New Hampshire8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild expected.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Wright St. Clair, Gilbert Clency St. Clair and Charles St. Clair; and sisters, Annie Eugenia Robinson and Adeline Willa Cannon. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 24, at the Idaho Falls LDS 16th Ward Church, with Bishop Phillip R. Roberts officiating.
