CATHERINE L. BOLINDER
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Catherine Loraine Likes Bolinder, 74,
of Firth, died June 12, 2003, at her home of cancer while under the care
of Aspen Hospice.
She was born March 5, 1929 in Idaho Falls to Clarence Loraine
Likes and Amy Evadone Hamilton Likes. She attended Eastside Elementary,
O.E. Bell Junior High, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
On September 14, 1946, she married Oscar A. Bolinder in
Dillon, Montana. He died March 15, 1979. She was a wife, mother, and homemaker.
Later, she worked as a secretary/receptionist for Cambridge Law Center.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Among her
many interests were camping, fishing, crocheting, reading, and tending to
her beautiful flower gardens.
She is survived by:

Daughter: Christine E. Oswald (Del Carter), Pocatello, ID
Daughter: Lenea M. (Hans) Deede, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Amy E. (Randy) Dye, Firth, ID
Son: James A. Bolinder, Firth, ID
Sister: Madeline Sortor, Smithfield, UT
16 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren and many others who knew her
as Mom and Grandma. She was preceded in death by her husband; 2 brothers,
William “Bill” Likes and Elza Likes; a sister, Evelyn Standly,
and her special friend, Orvil Westergard.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June
16, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will meet with
friends on Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour
prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at the Firth Riverview Cemetery.
