Casimiro Campos

Casimiro Campos, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 2, 2018, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.

Casimiro was born May 17, 1928, in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico, to Francisco Campos and Zenaida Ceja Campos. He grew up in Mexico and moved to California in the late 1970's and later moved to Idaho in 1984.

On December 16, 1956, he married Candelaria Campos Romero in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico. To this union were born eleven children, Virginia, Jose Luis, Rafael, Carmen, Antonio, Maria, Guadalupe, Maria del Soccorro, Jesus, Rosa, and Angelita. Casimiro and Candelaria made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Casimiro worked as a Laborer.

He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed walking and spending time with his friends and family.

Casimiro is survived by his wife, Candelaria Campos Romero of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Virginia Campos of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jose Luis (Evelia) Campos of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Rafael (Rosa Linda) Campos of Lewisville, ID; daughter, Carmen Campos of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Maria del Socorro of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Jesus (Guadalupe) Campos of Blackfoot, ID; daughter, Rosa (Miguel) Cisneros of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angelita (Javier Avila) Campos of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Alfredo Campos; 52 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Campos, mother, Zenaida Ceja, son, Antonio Campos, daughter, Maria Campos, daughter, Guadalupe Campos, brother, Jose Guadalupe Campos, sister, Rafaela Campos, sister, Reynalda Campos, and sister, Amalia Campos.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
