CAROLYNE A. JAGGER BOISE, ID -- Carolyne A. Jagger, 70, of Boise, Idaho, passed away November 7, 2005, at her home surrounded by her children. She was born July 8, 1935, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, being one of four children born to Art Aaron Adams and Sophie Elsie Haller Adams. Carolyne lived with her brother, John, and sister, Joyce, on the family farm in the New Sweden area. On the farm she learned the work ethic that she instilled in each of her children. She loved the farm and has many humorous stories of the time spent there. She graduated from high school in 1953. She married and had seven children, Tara Ferris of Wellton AZ, Camille Gaudet, of Fairfield, CA, Adam Jagger of Taichung, Taiwan, Tracy Bartholomew of Tracy, CA, Robert Jagger of Boise, Idah,o and Linda Jensen of Bremerton, WA. While in high school, along with her good friend Greta Rhine, she was a member of the New Sweden Softball team, District President of FHA, Girls State, Glee Club, Pep Club, was elected Cheer Queen, and was first runner-up in the Miss Idaho Falls Pageant in 1954. She was voted the girl with the prettiest smile at Shelley High School and was always complimented on her beauty. She was also a local vocalist, singing at many community events. After high school Carolyne was employed as a nurse for Dr. John Hatch of Idaho Falls, and relished the opportunity to help others. In 1963, she moved to Las Vegas, where she raised Tara, Camille, and gave birth to her first baby boy, Fred Arthur, who passed away at birth. She was blessed with a second baby boy, Adam, in 1964. She lived and worked in the Las Vegas area for many years, becoming friends with many local “Big Time” Las Vegas acts. She moved to Eugene, Oregon, in 1966, where she gave birth to her youngest baby girl, Tracy. While in Eugene her main focus was taking care of her four children and she was active in her church and community. She then moved back to Idaho Falls in 1970, where her first job was at the Royal Fork Restaurant that she loved. She then went to work for the City of Idaho Falls for four years. She greatly enjoyed her time and friends that were made there. She then was blessed with her fifth and final child, Bobby. At this time her daughter, Linda, also arrived into her life. Carolyne was again involved in many community roles and loved the opportunity to entertain others. She moved to the Boise area in 1973, where she was employed by Doctor Jack Clifford for many years. While working there she met her good friend, Glenna Hansen, and always cherished the friendships that she made while working for Doctor Clifford. After retirement in 1985 she became an active volunteer and an avid sports enthusiast. She loved the Capital Eagles and Denver Broncos. She had countless volunteer roles, she volunteered at all NCAA basketball tournaments in the Boise area, and was a volunteer hostess for the Idaho High School Hall of Fame, and volunteered at Fairmont Jr. High and Capital High School. She was very active in both schools booster clubs until 1992. Becoming bored with her retirement, she became a wedding coordinator and yet again helped others in their time of need. She then started her favorite hobby, videotaping weddings and scrap booking for her family. Anyone that knew Mom, knew that her favorite pastime was talking, and visiting with friends and family. Your courage and tenacity will forever strengthen us. As in the immortal words of your favorite singer you remained true to your soul and convictions and did it “Your Way.” You will be missed more than you will ever know. You taught us that giving up was not an option, and that helping others in their time of need was always the most important. Survivors include her sister, Joyce Zimmerman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and her brother, John Adams of Littleton, Colorado.. Her six children, Tara Ferris, Camille Gaudet, Adam Jagger, Tracy Bartholomew, Linda Jensen, and Robert Jagger.
