CAROL MCCULLOUGH
IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO -- Carolyn Joan Field McCullough, 65, of Pocatello, passed away March 11, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Idaho Falls.
She was born April 4, 1943, in Swan Valley, Idaho to Newell Field and Nada Burupp Field. The family moved to Blackfoot where she attended elementary school and then to California, where she went to Hawthorne High School before meeting her husband.
On October 23, 1957, she married Allen Clair McCullough, Sr. in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1998. She was a mother and homemaker and also worked as a special education teacher.
Carol enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, traveling, and was a great pen pal. She also enjoyed her dogs, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Christine Kay (Billy) Taylor, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Santina Marie (Jerry) Grant, Pocatello, ID
Son: Allen Clair (Corrine) McCullough, Jr., Pocatello, ID
Brother: John Field, Washington
10 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter, a niece, a brother, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and four children at birth.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, P. O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405-1434.
