Caroline Berry

Carolyn Jo Berry, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 7, 2016, at Good Samaritan Society Idaho Falls Village.

Carolyn was born March 6, 1947, in Banner Elk, North Carolina, to James Herschel McGuire and Mary Louise Ward-McGuire. She grew up and attended schools in North Carolina. She also attended Grossmont College in California, where she trained as a draftsman.

Carolyn served as a clerk, SP5 at the Fort Dix JAG office, in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

On December 21, 1969, she married Stephen Michael Berry in Fort Dix, New Jersey. To this union was born a daughter, Stephanie. They were divorced in 1997. Carolyn worked as a Technical Draftsman for Battelle in Washington.

She was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Idaho Falls. She enjoyed horticulture, bird watching, animals, children, art, and had a love for her Lord.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Berry, of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017, at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church.
