Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Carole Rae Oswald Taylor, 80, of Idaho Falls, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Carole Rae was born July 26, 1932, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Arnold Martin Oswald and Alice Bybee Oswald. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School, where she served as President of Dance Club. She excelled in ballet, tap, folk dancing, and played clarinet in the marching band. She also attended Brigham Young University. On November 23, 1951, she married Donald Leonard Taylor in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1953. Carole Rae was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Carole Rae served in many capacities over the years, including Relief Society President, Ward Organist for 50 years, and Temple Organist for three years. She enjoyed nature, the outdoors, and spending time at the family cabin in Island Park. Carole Rae is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Don Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Suzanne (Kerry) Snow of Breckenridge, TX; Son, Rick D. (Tammy) Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, David (Mary) Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID, Sister, Shirlene (Dale) Bunnell of St. Louis, MO; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Alice Oswald. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS South Point Ward, 1291 West 65 South, with Bishop Howard Arrington officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
