Carol Torres

Carol Ruth Torres passed away October 19, 2024, at the age of 60, at her home in Idaho Falls, after a long battle with COPD.

Carol was born February 27, 1964, in Whitefish, Montana, to Arnold Torres and Margaret Dougan Torres. The couple then welcomed another child, Sheila, in 1966.

Carol lost her father in a tragic drowning accident in 1967. Her childhood years were spent in Idaho, and her teen years and young adult life were spent in Seattle, Washington. Carol then relocated to Idaho Falls in 1989 where she remained the rest of her life.

Carol worked in the food service industry and really loved animals, no matter how big or small. Carol was known for her quick family wit and a love for going on walks or bike rides.

Carol is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Ray Torres, and her grandparents.

Carol is survived by her mother, Margaret Torres; her siblings, Sheila Torres, Ranae Torres, and Gerald Pearson (Karen); son, Kris Murphy (Chelsy); grandson, Brody; nieces and nephews, Andrew Torres, Ian Pearson, Haley Vielle, Lizzy Pearson, and Ava Pearson; and countless other relatives.

There are no services scheduled. Carol will be laid to rest with her father, Arnold Torres, in Eureka, Montana.
