Carol Lee Thompson Snarr, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 19, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Carol was born January 30, 1945, in Eugene, Oregon, to Rao Glenn Thompson and Helen Weber Thompson. The family moved to Idaho Falls, where she attended schools and graduated from Bonneville High School.
On August 22, 1963, she married David Roger Snarr in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked in retail at JCPenney, Walmart, and Dillards, and as a teller at Valley and Key Banks.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved teaching in Primary and Sunday School and served in various other callings. She enjoyed camping, reading, collecting knick knacks, and loved NASCAR. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and they all adored and cherished her.

Sister: Lynn (Theron) Nelson of Ammon, ID
Sister: Marsha (Gary) Walton of Shelley, ID
Sister: Barbara (Kent) Abplanalp of Hurricane, UT
Sister: Vicki Jean (Curtis) Kawaguchi of Roy, UT
Sister: Wendy Thompson of Shelley, ID
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Thompson and Gary Thompson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, at the Idaho Falls LDS 13th Ward, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop Chris Wright officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
