Carol Ann Fisher

Carol Ann Fisher, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 17, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

Carol was born December 14, 1950, in Boise, Idaho, to David W Fisher and Ruby S Fisher. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Idaho State University. She worked many years as a bus and car pool dispatcher at the Idaho National Laboratory.

Carol was adventurous and had many outdoor hobbies. She enjoyed camping, four wheeling, rock collecting, arrowhead collecting, and taking mountain drives. She loved horseback riding, range riding, and helping bring cattle to the open range. Carol was an animal lover, she especially loved cats! She also loved ghost towning and panning for gold. Salmon, Idaho, was her favorite place to be and visiting family at the upper ranch near Geerston Creek.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Jill Fisher of Idaho Falls, ID; grandchildren, Taya Smout, and Cody Butler; and great granddaughter, Shylo Fisher.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering will be held at a later date.
