Carol Lee Charlesworth, 71, of Ammon Idaho, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday morning August 11,2011, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Carol Lee Sawyer, December 11, 1939, to Charles Winfield Sawyer and Lola Call Sawyer in Shoshone, Idaho. Carol graduated from Idaho Falls High School and soon after married her Sweetheart, Lyle M. Charlesworth Jr., on April 4, 1959, in Reno, Nevada. They have three children: Lynette Kaye Jessop of Grace, Idaho. Lyle M. Charlesworth III of Honolulu,HI, and Wayne Lee Charlesworth of Clayton, Idaho. Carol enjoyed her job as a Pharmacy Technician at EIRMC, where she was employeed for 20 years. She loved traveling, fishing, camping, cooking and all kinds of crafts. She loved their cabin in Island Park, Idaho, and their home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. They have been wintering down south for several years and made several friends there and in Overton, Nevada, where they wintered before Beaver Dam. Carol is Survived by her husband, Lyle M charlesworth Jr., and their children, Lynette Kaye Jessop (David), Lyle M. charlesworth III and Wayne Lee charlesworth. Sister-in-law, Valene Davenport of Idaho Falls; brother-in-law, Glen Charlesworth of Columbia Falls, MT; sisters and brothers, Sharon Sawyer of Boise, Idaho; Linda (Charlie) Johnson of Beaver Dam, AZ; Chuck Sawyer of Boise, Idaho; Barbara Billings of Boise, ID; Gayla (Terry) Nelson of Boise, ID; and Gary Covington from challis, ID. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. All services will be held at Wood Funeral Home; 963 South Ammon Road. Viewing will be Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Another viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning with funeral following at 11 a.m. Burial will occur after services at Ammon Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Monday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m., both at Wood East Side. Burial in Ammon Cemetery.
