Carl Holm

Carl Everett Holm, 70, of Shelley, passed away May 3, 2012, at his home of cancer. He was under the care of his family and Hands of Hope Hospice. Carl was born March 25, 1942, in Shelley, Idaho, to Everett William Holm and Marcine Jackson Holm. He grew up and attended school in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School. On March 24, 1998, he married Jeanne Adair Davidson in Blackfoot, Idaho. Carl worked as a truck driver for Wiklund Trucking for most of his life. Carl enjoyed horses, working on cars, hunting, camping, animals, fishing, and watching old western shows and Law & Order. Carl is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Jeanne, of Ammon, ID; Son, Michael Everett Holm of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Todd Floren Holm of Idaho Falls, ID, Son, Dustin Carl Holm of Boise, ID, Son, Steven Bruce (Melissa) Holm of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Kelly Jeanne (Brett) Somsen of Idaho Falls, ID; Brother, Raymond (Ingrid) Holm of Idaho Falls, ID; Sister, Anna (Doug) Ransom of Idaho Falls, ID, Sister, Karen (Jerry) Haley of Aberdeen, ID; and 4 Step Children and 16 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Susan Mishelle Holm, a brother, Jonny Holm, and a grandson, Garrett Somsen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
