Candy Deon Dutton Hurt, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 28, 2021, at her home.
Candy was born April 13, 1964, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John Logan Dutton and Adaline Deon Simpson Dutton. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and attended Ucon Elementary.
She married Clarence Edward Hurt in Idaho Falls. He passed away May 11, 2001. Candy made her home in Idaho Falls.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived at Good Samaritan and acted as a care giver there. She enjoyed crafts, coloring, bingo, playing with her grandkids, gardening, hiking, camping, fishing, and anything having to do with the ocean.
Candy is survived by her fiancé, Brent Lynn Skyes of Idaho Falls, ID; daughters, Heather Ann (Jason) Andrus of Orvil, CA, Melanie Sue (Nathan) Gonzales of Layton, UT, Amy Faye (Randolph) Lahman of Pleasant Grove, UT, Brenda Sue (Adam) Burleigh of Medford, OR, Debra Lynn Rix of Idaho Falls, ID, and Kirstie Jackson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Diane (Reidar) Frandsen of Center, TX; brother, John Todd Dutton of Idaho Falls, ID; and ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence Edward Hurt, mother-in-law, Idela Hurt, grandparents, Catherine and Alford Simpson.
Family services will be planned for a later date.
