Candace Michelle "Candy" Seward Severinsen, 35, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away June 18, 2016, at her home. Candy was born July 18, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dean Seward and Cherie Clayton Seward. She grew up and attended schools in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School. She also attended Vogue Beauty College and Idaho State University. On September 26, 1998, Candy married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Aaron Kay Severinsen, in Shelley, Idaho. Candy and Aaron made their home in Ammon. She was a wonderful wife, homemaker and mother to their furbabies, whether winged, gilled, quilled or scaled. Candy, "The girl who loved them all, big or small!!" She was a member of Watersprings Church. She had a lifelong passion for animals and advocated for them all. She accomplished the career of her dreams as she was selected to be on the Board of Directors for the Snake River Animal Shelter, where she volunteered and was a voice for the animals. Candy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 18 years, Aaron Severinsen of Ammon, ID; parents, Dean & Cherie Seward of Shelley, ID, sister, Dena (Brad) Hunziker of Pocatello, ID, brother, Travis (Jessica) Seward of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Monica Bringhurst of Pocatello, ID, sister, Elsha (Davin) Christensen of Pahrump, NV. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ned & June Clayton and Lynn & Luella Seward. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to the services at Wood East Side. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Candace’s name to the Snake River Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 51741, Idaho Falls, 83405.
