Candace Lee (Jones) Santoyo

Candace  Lee Jones Santoyo, 61, of  Bulverde, Texas, passed away the morning of August 22, 2024.

Candace was born October 10,1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ted L Jones and Sandra K. Gneiting.

Candace spent her childhood in Idaho, eventually moving to Colorado and then finally finding her home in Texas.

On June 11, 2021 Candace married Martin Santoyo, and they made their home in Bulverde, Texas.

Candace had a deep love for all animals, especially cats. She treasured her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed handmade crafts, baking, fishing, and politics.

Candace is survived by her husband Martin Santoyo of Bulverde,Texas; children, Chelsey (Paul) Avalos of Parker, CO, Jennifer (Nick) Freeman of Elizabeth,CO, and Anthony Manna of Greenbush, ME; mother, Sandra Jones of Idaho Falls, ID; siblings, Todd Jones of Salt Lake City, UT and Danielle (Jeremy) Haslam of Shelley, ID; grandchildren Devin Avalos, Peyton Avalos, Corbin Freeman, and Landon Freeman; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.

She is preceded in death by son Brady J. Jones, father Ted L.Jones, grandparents Glen and Edna Gneiting, Elmer and Eva Jones, and many aunts and uncles and her many loved fur babies.

A graveside service for Candace will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2024, at Grant Central Cemetery.
