Cameron "Cam" Jeff Brocksome, 52, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away September 3, 2025, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.
Cam was born April 9, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Kirk Wayne Brocksome and Cheri Lynn Staley (Brocksome). He grew up in Boise and Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School in 1992.
Cam, a beloved brother, son, friend, and companion to many, passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and belonging.
Born with a zeal for life, Cam was known for his humor, his generosity, and his open heart. He never minded being the butt of a joke if it meant others could smile, and his laugh was a sound that brought joy to everyone who heard it. His home was always open and his arms always welcoming - because to Cam, no one was ever a stranger. Everyone he met was part of his extended family.
Cam loved the outdoors and found peace in fishing, riding his motorcycles, and enjoying nature's quiet beauty. But more than anything, he cherished the time spent with his friends and family. Whether gathered around the table, out on an adventure, or simply sharing stories and laughter, those moments were what he valued most.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his openness, and his ability to make every person feel like they belonged. Though his passing leaves a hole in our hearts, his spirit remains alive in the love, laughter, and memories he gave so freely.
Cam is survived by his mother, Cheri Lynn Hensley, of Boise, Idaho; uncle, Howard Merl Brocksome, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three brothers, Kirk Koin Brocksome (Kirstie), of Bremerton, Washington, Kit Blue Brocksome (Kimberley) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Harlan Ken Christensen, of Shelley, Idaho; one sister, Trisha Cair Lee (Ed) of Lewisville, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kirk Wayne Brocksome; grandmother, Lillian Rose Harvey; and grandfather, Howard Wayne Brocksome.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date so friends and family can come together and celebrate the life of a man whose presence made the world brighter.
A Memorial Ride in Cam's honor is scheduled to take place September 21, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Meet up at Harley Davidson, 848 Houston Street, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
