BOBBY KING, SR. IDAHO FALLS, ID - Buddie Bobby James King Sr., 60, of Hamer, Idaho, died May 6, 2005, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1945, in Mariano Lake, New Mexico, to James King and Nancy Shorty King. He attended Mariano Lake Boarding School, then, in Salem, Oregon, Chimawa Indian School. He married MaryAnn Grey on June 27, 1967, in New Mexico, and they are the parents of five children. He has been with Walker Farms in Hamer since it’s inception, where he was 'master of all trades,' specifically, equipment operator, carpenter, welder and farm mechanic, showing much enthusiasm and incredible pride in the work he did. He loved spending time with his family, and was proud of his native heritage, taking part in traditional pow-wows, known as a very spiritual person who respected everyone's beliefs and raised the spirits of everyone with whom he associated. Surviving are: Wife: MaryAnn King, New Mexico Son: Ronald B. (Loretta) King, NM Daughter: Maretta King, NM Son: Allen B. (Tanya)King, Phoenix, AZ Son: Buddie B. (Anna) James King Jr., NM Brothers: Woody, Fred, Harrison and Leonard, all of New Mexico; Sister: Mae Smith, Salem, OR Sister: Nellie King, New Mexico Sister: Pauline Frank, New Mexico 7 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Irvin B. King, and three brothers, Harry, Clark and Sam King. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will meet with friends at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Mexico. Local arrangements under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
