Bruce Noller

Bruce Alton Noller, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 31, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of heart disease. Bruce was born June 29, 1932, in Tony, Wisconsin, the son of George Noller and Amy Abrams Noller. He grew up and attended schools in Tony, Wisconsin. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He moved to St. Anthony in 1964, where he lived until 1998. He played with the Indiana Double A Cleveland Baseball Team. On July 7, 1965, he married Loretta Fay Simpson in St. Anthony, Idaho. They made their home in St. Anthony until 2005, when they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. They lived in Logan, Utah from 2005 to 2008, when they came to Idaho Falls. Bruce worked for Madison County as in Idaho, then as a bus driver for the Utah Transit Authority in Utah, where he worked until he retired in 2006. Fay passed away January 20, 2007. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and served as Past Master. He loved baseball, metal detecting, fishing, tooling leather, operating a road grader and dozer, and getting to know new people. Survivors include: Son, Richard (Vicky) Riggs of Providence, UT; Daughter, Dixie (Marvin) McBride of Santa Clara, UT; Daughter, Dawn Etta (Carl) Cowan of Rigby, ID; Daughter, Pat Riggs of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Iris (Terry) Kirkham of Boise, ID; Daughter, Cathy (Kenny) Kirkham of Wanship, UT; 25 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Loretta. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2014, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Wood East Side. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.

Funeral Services will be held

Monday August 4, 2014 , 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side

The family will visit with friends Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial in Fielding Memorial Park.
