BRUCE R. LOTT IDAHO FALLS, ID - Bruce Ray Lott, 44, of Idaho Falls, died August 4, 2003, near Swan Valley from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born November 26, 1958 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ray Hawkins Lott and Ada LaDawn Taylor Lott. He grew up in the Ucon area and graduated from Bonneville High School. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Boston, Massachusetts mission beginning in 1978. He married Nita Taylor in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were later divorced. He was a rancher and farmer all of his life. Throughout his life, he held various positions in his church and served in a bishopric. His passion was farming. He loved the hard work and challenge of buying old, run-down farms, and took pride in making them a beautiful piece of land. He loved to be with his children and they loved spending time with him. He had a way of always making them smile. He taught everyone around him to never give up and love everyone. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and riding motorcycles. Surviving are: Daughter: Amber Lott, Boise, ID Daughter: Linsey LaDawn (Dony D.) Williams, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Nathan Ray Lott, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Megan Taylor Lott, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Brent (Michelle) Lott, Ucon, ID Sister: Jann (Kent) Mower, Price, UT Sister: Vickie (Scott) Mower, Price, UT He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Thursday, August 7, 2003, at the Ucon Stake Center, 2967 East 105 North, with President Louis Burley officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge, and on Thursday from 10 to 10:40 a.m. at The church. Burial will be in Ucon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave., Idaho Falls, ID 83402-4092 Phone: (208) 522-2751 FAX: 522-5413.
