Brooke Nelson

Brooke Lynne Nelson, 21, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 2, 2026, at her home.

Brooke was born March 16, 2005, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dareld Eugene Nelson and Michele Lynne Moore Nelson. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended A.H. Bush Elementary and other area schools.

Brooke was an incredibly smart, creative, and funny young woman. She was an amazing sister and an even better friend. Brooke was wise beyond her years and had great compassion for animals and nature. She could always be counted on to have the best music taste in the room. Brooke was also very talented in her art and in her writing. She was such a blessing in the lives of all who loved her. Brooke will be missed beyond measure.

Brooke is survived by her father, Dareld Nelson, Jr. of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Michele Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Mikayla Nelson (Troy Gundersen) of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Jacob Michael Nelson of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandparents, Barry and LeAnn Ferguson of Rigby, ID.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dareld Eugene Nelson Sr. and Melba Jewell Nelson.
