Brian Jay Paul, 80, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 4, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born October 12, 1936, in Ogden, Utah, to Harry Jay Paul and Frances Amanda Wessman Paul. He grew up in Medford, Oregon, where he graduated high school, and in 1954, he joined the United States Navy. In 1957, he started his career at the INL, and in 1993, he retired from management at ECF. On April 19, 1958, he married Ina Carolyn Cummins in Nevada. They were later divorced. In November of 1974, he married Dorothy Alice Jewett in Idaho Falls where they made their home. Brian enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and camping with his family. Brian is survived by his son, Craig Paul of Idaho Falls; daughter, Christine Paul of Idaho Falls; step-daughter, Jackie Bolton (Bill) Clay of Anderson, CA; step-daughter, Carol Bolton (Tim) Andersen of Maple Valley, WA; step-daughter, Marilyn (Tom) Mills of Idaho Falls; step-son, Scott (Joanne) Bolton of Idaho Falls; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Frances Paul; wife, Dorothy Alice Paul; daughters, Lisa and Cornelia; and sisters, Kay and Luana. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
