Brian V. Foster

Brian V. Foster, 63, of Ucon, passed away April 9, 2024, at his home.

Brian was born October 26, 1960, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Vernon Dale Foster and Jeanette Barrie Foster. He grew up and attended schools in Ucon and graduated from Bonneville High School.

Brian married Genni Marie Welch in Idaho Falls shortly after graduating. They were later divorced. Brian made his home in Ucon, Idaho, and worked as a heavy equipment operator in construction.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Posse. He enjoyed hunting, horses, dogs, his cat, “Pickles,” farming and gardening. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandkids.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Audra Foster of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Sandra Stetzel; brothers, Allen D. (Tina) Foster of Idaho Falls, Bruce A. Foster of Twin Falls, ID, and Michael E. (Tiffany) Foster of Shelley, ID; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Renae Foster; niece, Hilary Bingham; and grandson, Austin McDonald.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 am both times at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ucon Cemetery.
