Brian Edwards

Brian Dee Edwards, 43, of Boise, passed away at home on September 17, 2011. Brian was born August 30, 1968, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Jay Dee Edwards and Gail Louise Robb Edwards. Brian was the eldest child from the union of Jay Dee and Gail. Brian grew up in Idaho Falls and also lived in Dubois, Idaho, for a short while in his youth. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1987. Brian moved to Boise in 2005 to be closer to his mother and two sisters. While there, he met many wonderful friends that will miss him greatly. Brian was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed the simple things in life, things like fishing, camping, listening to music, and just being surrounded by family and friends. He worked on and off throughout his life in the food industry. His most enjoyable employment was when he worked at Brownstone Restaurant and Brewery. Brian is survived by his two sisters, Tracy (Jason) Schwenson and Sherry (Brian) Labrum, and his nieces and nephews, Elder Jordon Labrum, Elder Brenden Labrum, Makenna and Taegan Labrum, Jaiden, Rhyan, Tate, Kenidee, and Rory Schwenson, whom he loved with all his heart and who loved him. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and stepfather, Carl (Dutch) Doschades, whom he also greatly loved. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Louise Doschades, his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Phyllis Robb, and his paternal grandparents, Walt and Blanche Edwards. Graveside Services for Brian will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at the Lincoln Cemetery, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. Saturday, followed by the graveside services.
