Brett Hahn

Our son, father, grandfather and brother, Brett A. Hahn, passed away in a house fire on May 2, 2015. He was born April 14, 1973, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Max and Kay Hahn. He lived in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School. Brett, like his Dad, enjoyed taking things apart and fixing them and always wanted to explore how things worked. He was a generous and forgiving person and would do anything for friends and family. For the last three years his granddaughter, Brynley, has been the light of his life. He will be missed. Survivors include: Son: Austen (Shelby) Sievers of Idaho Falls, ID Parents: Max and Kay Hahn of Idaho Falls, ID Granddaughter: Brynley Sievers of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Kurt Schroeder of Boise, ID Sister: Stacy (Troy) Scott of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Lisa (Mike) Landon of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Kristy (Eric) Boswell of Boise, ID and 7 nieces and nephews Brett was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pearl Hahn and grandparents, Al & Ethel Hardrath. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at the Eagle’s Lodge (635 Hemmert Drive). May your spirit soar in freedom From the fears that gripped so tight, May you find the peace you searched for As you wandered, lost in the night. May your tortured mind be clear and calm And your tender heart be warm. May you have no need for strength now. May there never be another storm.
