Brent "Skip" "Skip Moulton" Moulton

Samuel Brent "Skip" Moulton, 75, of Victor, passed away December 7, 2015, at The Gables Assisted Living Center of Shelley. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice.

Skip was born June 27, 1940, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to William Floyd Moulton and Edna May Boyle Moulton. He grew up and attended schools in Victor and graduated from Teton High School. He served in the U.S. National Guard.

On November 20, 1959, he married Margie Hansen. To this union were born four children, Clay, Tracy, Terri, and Clint. They were later divorced. He later married Sandra Tucker and had a set of twins, Kolan and Kara. He and Sandra were later divorced. Skip married Irene Hogue on November 12, 1981, in Elko, Nevada, and they made their home in Victor, Idaho. Skip worked as an equipment operator for Anderson & Wood building power lines. So they traveled a bunch. He also worked as a rancher, painter, and meat cutter.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with his family.

Skip is survived by his son, Clay Brent Moulton of Tetonia, ID; daughter, Tracy (David) Whitmore of Tetonia, ID; daughter, Terri Rae (Vern) Armstrong of Tetonia, ID; son, Clint Floyd Moulton of Tetonia, ID; son, Kolan Samuel Moulton of Victor, ID; daughter, Jaylyn Kinney of Pocatello, ID; son, Lee (Cindy) Dayley of Helper, UT; brother, Rex Floyd Moulton of Victor, ID; 27 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene; parents, Floyd and Edna Moulton; daughter, Kara Stephanie Moulton; and sister, Nelda Drake.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the Victor LDS Church (87 E. Center Street) with Bishop Val Kunz officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church. Military Rites will be performed by the Teton County Veterans Team.
