Brent Lynn Roberts, 45, of Ammon, Idaho, died August 28, 2004, at Easter Idaho Regional Medical Center of a sudden heart attack. Brent was born January 6, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Cyril Benjamin "C.B." Roberts and Violet Bartschi Roberts. He attended Linden Park Elementary, O.E. Bell Jr. High, graduated from Idaho Falls High School and attended Ricks College. He served a full-time LDS mission to the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission. He married Tamara Florence May 11, 1985, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He has worked as an independent insurance agent. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brent was currently serving as a Primary teacher. He also served as Bishop, Bishop’s counselor, Scoutmaster and as a ward missionary. He loved being with his family and all of their activities, especially camping. Surviving are his parents, C.B. and Violet Roberts of Idaho Falls, his wife, Tammy Roberts, daughter, Brittany Roberts son, Tristan Brent Roberts, daughter, Courtney Roberts, daughter, Kaitlin Roberts, and son, Logan Clyde Roberts, all of the family home in Ammon; brother, DeLoy (Lorna) Roberts of Idaho Falls brother, Dennis (Shanna) Roberts of West Valley, UT brother, Bruce (Carol) Roberts of Ammon sister, Joyce (Bruce) Loveland of Boise, ID. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at the Ammon LDS 3rd Ward, 2945 Selway, with Bishop Nathan Martin officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
