R. “Brent” Lindholm, 79, of Blackfoot, Idaho, peacefully passed away November 9, 2013, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls.
Brent was born January 11, 1934, in Iona, Idaho, to Ross Lindholm and Reva Jenkins Lindholm. He grew up and attended schools in Iona and graduated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls.
On October 21, 1953, he married his sweetheart, Verla Field, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Osgood, Wapello, and Blackfoot, Idaho. To this union were born five children, Kirk, Paul, Terri, Jean, and Marie. Brent worked as a truck driver, hauling gas, grain, sugar beets, and potatoes. He also worked in construction. Verla passed away August 15, 1996.
Brent was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and handed out service folders at church. He enjoyed reading, playing sports, leathertooling, aircraft, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Brent always said, “Every day is a good day. Some days are just a little better than others.”

Sister, Annie (Michael) Wiederstein of Tulsa, OK.
16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Verla, and a brother, Neal Lindholm.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at the Blackfoot LDS Rose 3rd Ward, 403 North 150 West, Blackfoot. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17th, and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday prior to services, both at the church. Burial will be in the Blackfoot-Groveland Cemetery.
