Brent Ray Kesler

Brent Ray Kesler, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 11, 2022, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. He was under the care of One Source Hospice and Health Care.

Brent  was born March 9, 1951, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Ray William Kesler and Helen Verna Christensen Kesler. He grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot, and graduated from Blackfoot High School. He also attended Ricks College.

In May 1970, he married Kathrine Ruby Foster in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Brent and Kathy made their home in Portland, Oregon, where Brent  worked as a meat cutter.

Brent was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially boating and fishing.

Brent  is survived by his daughter, Stacy Kesler of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Zachary Kesler of Portland, OR; sisters, Kathy Housley, Cheryl Moss, and Brenda Johnson; and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Karen Harsh.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
