Brent D. Holland

Brent D. Holland, 81, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 31, 2026, at his home. He was under the care of Alliance Hospice.

Brent was born July 10, 1945, in Boise, Idaho, to Delton Holland and Oretta Hansen Holland. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and at 16, moved to Norwalk, California, where he graduated from Excelsior High School 1963. He also attended Weber State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in logistics management in 1978. Brent served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Edwards, California. He served in Vietnam from 1965-1966.

On March 16, 1967, he married Karolyn Wadsworth in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brent and Karri lived in Rosamond, California; Ogden, Utah; Aurora, Colorado; and eventually made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1982.

Brent worked for Hill Air Force Base while living in Utah. Upon returning to Idaho, he had several jobs in sales. He and his wife later owned and operated a business together until his retirement.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed boating and snow skiing. He loved watching his grandsons compete in their sporting events. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Brent is survived by his wife, Karri Holland of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Bryan Holland of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Rachele (John) Barrus of Idaho Falls, ID; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brady Jay Holland; and great-granddaughter, Bentley Ella Black.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Idaho Falls Highland Park Ward, 955 Memorial Drive, with Bishop Matt Sumsion officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Air Force Honor Guard.
