Brenda (Tuckett) Reanier

Brenda Reanier, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 23, 2023, at Fairwinds Sand Creek Retirement Community. She was under the care of her loving family.

Brenda was born May 19, 1941, in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Jesse Tuckett and Verda Margaret Francis Tuckett. She grew up and attended schools in Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She also attended Brigham Young University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree.

She married William Alvin Reanier. Brenda and Bill made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Brenda worked as a kindergarten teacher. She started out teaching at Mannheim Elementary in Germany for three years before she moved to Idaho. Brenda taught at Fairview South Elementary and Ucon Elementary.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brenda enjoyed singing in the church choir, crafting, puzzles, helping others, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her loving sons, Eric Reanier of Idaho Falls, and Matthew (ClaireAnne) Reanier of Idaho Falls, ID; sisters, Ruby Smith of Salt Lake City, UT, Thora Wilcox of Fillmore, UT, and Joylene Reynolds of Kansas City, MI; brother, Duane Tuckett of Utah; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brother, Lamar Tuckett, Clive, John, and Arden; and one sister, Cheryl Tuckett.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Mountain View Ward, 1450 Mountain View Lane, with Bishop Allen Harrison officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, Utah.
