Brenda Holden

Brenda Kaye Holden, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 16, 2019, at her home. Brenda was born May 14, 1941, in Rigby, Idaho, to Martin Alfred Johnson and Eva Elizabeth Christensen Johnson. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1959. Brenda raised four children, Michelle, Mike, Jenny, and Wes. After completing a four year apprenticeship program she went to work for The Loss of Fluid Test (LOFT) at the INL. Brenda worked as a Journeyman and became the first female in Idaho to become an Instrument Mechanic. Brenda enjoyed gardening and took pride in raising her four children. Brenda is survived by her loving son, Wes Holden of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Jenny Holden of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Michelle (Richard) Wilson of Richard, WA, son, Mike (Christie) Holden of Boise, ID; brother, Floyd Drown of Twin Falls, ID; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
