KYAL JOHNSON BOISE, ID -- Brandon KyAl Johnson, age 31, a resident of Nampa, Idaho, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, in Nampa. KyAl was born September 7, 1975, in Idaho Falls, to Kenneth High and Laree Biggs High. He attended Skyline High School in Idaho Falls. KyAl married the love of his life, LaDawn Elaine Johnson, June 6, 1997. KyAl was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature. He loved collecting guns, gun safety and hunting. He loved spending time teaching his children, Chris, Mat and Tiffy, and practicing gun safety with them. He enjoyed playing Ever Quest and Battle Field 1946. His love of music was a big part of his life. KyAl was proud of his accomplishment of being clean and sober for 13 years. He was a caring, loving man who was deeply devoted to his wife and children. He worked for the Foot Locker Company in retail sales and management in Idaho Falls and a year ago transferred to Boise. He had a passion for his career at Footlocker. His superior skills as a retail store executive brought great pride to him. The people he came in contact with in his position enjoyed KyAl very much. He is survived by his wife, LaDawn; his sons, Christopher and Mathew; daughter, Tiffany; his older brother, Troy Johnson of Seattle, Washington; sister, Melissa Pitman of Idaho Falls; and his parents, Kenneth and Laree High of Idaho Falls. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Minnie High. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2007, at Wood East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services Saturday at Wood East Side.
