Brandi May Garza

Brandi May Garza, 39, of Ammon, passed away February 24, 2021, at her home.

Brandi was born July 20, 1981, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Raul Garza and Dottie May Quinton Garza. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended Idaho State University. She served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Brandi made her home in Ammon, Idaho, where she worked for the Military.

She was a Christian and loved serving her country and was proud to be a US Marine. She enjoyed camping, fishing, four-wheeling, arts and crafts, and diamond dots. She loved her family and spending time with them.

Brandi is survived by her daughter, Destinie Modisette of Idaho Falls; son, Jaiden Essig of Idaho Falls; parents, Raul and Dottie Garza of Rigby, ID; twin brother, Brandon (Heather) Garza of Nashville, TN; and fiancé, Jess Bryon of Ammon, ID.

She was preceded in death by her cousin, Jeremy Essig; and stepsister, Lucero Garza.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Mountain View Christian Center, 4475 N. Ammon Road, with Pastor Christopher Paolini officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Marine Honor Guard.
