This is especially to Katie. My name is Julie Park,I live in Hamer. I was in a position much like yours 20 years ago. I was 18 and had two boys, 17 months and 3 months. My husband was killed in motorcycle accident on Memorial weekend in 1989. It was one of the hardest things I have ever been through, especially because I wasn't very active in the church at the time. I remarried in 1992 to a great guy who my boys just idolized. Stay strong in the gospel and let your family help when they can. Grief counseling helped when I was ready for it. Email me if you would like to. My mother lives in your old Ammon Ward if you would like to get a hold of me, Luci Brock. Cry when you need to, but be strong for your boys, God loves you and you can get through this, and be stronger and better for it. You are in my prayers.
Sincerely and with complete understanding,
Julie Park

Katie . . . Even tho you were in our ward for some time, I admit to not remembering your name, but do now that I have seen pictures of you and your husband. I just want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad, difficult time in your life . . . such a shock . . . my husband died on April 2nd and that has been an adjustment for me and my family, but I know it is not quite the same with you being left with little children. My daughter, Julie, did go through this as she has told you . . . so she also knows some of what you are going through. Do remember through all this that the Lord is still there and that while things may be difficult, He will not leave us alone. May He strengthen and comfort you and your family at this time and in the coming days.
Love,
Luci Brock
