Boyd R. Parish

Boyd R. Parish, 70, of Rigby, passed away October 2, 2024, at his home.

Boyd was born August 9, 1954, in Rigby, Idaho, to Orvil Kember Parish and Vesta Ann Ritchie Parish. He grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.

Boyd worked as a truck driver for Boise Cascade for 20 years and retired in 2016.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed camping, riding four-wheelers, and hunting.

Boyd is survived by his two sisters, Linda (Steve) Ferrell of Idaho Falls, ID and Enid (Steve) Bourgeois of Lehi, UT; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Cheryl Ann Parish and Sandra Butler; and his brother, Ritchie “Butch” Parish.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
