Click Here To View Memorial Video Bonnie Lucille Mathews Peterson, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away on July 22, 2013, at her home after a hard battle with cancer. She was born December 1, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Boyd Mathews and AnnaLu Warner Mathews. She grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Skyline High School. On May 12, 1978, she married Mark Devlin Peterson in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on July 21, 2012. Bonnie was a mother, grandmother and homemaker as well as a daycare provider. She also worked many years at Fred Meyer. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Relief Society Secretary. She enjoyed crocheting, playing with her dogs, indexing, and especially loved spending time with her family. Survivors are: Husband: Mark Peterson, Idaho Falls, Idaho Children: Marissa (Scott) Singleton, Ucon, Idaho Justin Peterson, Idaho Falls, Idaho Sarah (Travis) Bailey, Idaho Falls, Idaho Lauren Peterson, Ucon, Idaho Brennen Peterson, Idaho Falls, Idaho Brandi (Cody) Stites, Idaho Falls, Idaho Brothers: Bruce (Kim) Mathews, Steve (Julie) Lawson, Jerry Lawson, Kirk (Tracy) Lawson, Jason (Tenille) Lawson Sisters: Becky Walz, Beverly (Ken) Whetstone, Kristine Davis 9 Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her father; her mother; and her stepmother, Jeanette Mathews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Idaho Falls LDS 3rd Ward (2025 Jennie Lee Drive) with Bishop Carroll Perkes officiating. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park at a later date.
