On October 5, 2023, Bonnie Faye Lake was reunited with three of her children and her husband who had passed before her. Her pets and granddaughter were at her side as she peacefully left this life.
Bonnie was born on March 23, 1930, in Downey, Idaho. She spent most of her life in Idaho Falls and surrounding areas.
Bonnie and Harold Farmer had three children. Bonnie and Beni Gonzalez had two children. She married the love of her life, George Lake, on January 8, 1975.
Bonnie was a hard worker and spent many hours as a waitress working two jobs to take care of her family. She loved pets and dancing and never met a stray cat that didn't need to be fed.
Bonnie was preceded in death by three of her children, Gene (Wendy) Farmer of Idaho Falls, Melanie Farmer of Idaho Falls, Jody Farmer of Eagle, Idaho, and six siblings.
She is survived by her children, Robin (Kathy) Farmer of Mississippi, Mike Farmer of Rupert, Jonathan (Denise) of Boise, and Elizabeth of Hawaii; granddaughter she raised as her own daughter, Alaina (Nicky) Bateman of Idaho Falls; one sister, Donna; 17 other grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren who all love her dearly.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
