BONNIE KILLIAN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Bonnie Kay Killian, 64, of Idaho Falls, died April 18, 2007, at her home of liver failure due to complications of cancer. She was born March 28, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Thomas Laughlin Stanger and Mary Elizabeth Eldredge Stanger. She grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also graduated from Ex-Cel-Sis Beauty College in Idaho Falls and attended Northern Montana College. She married Ronald Clair Killian December 11, 1964, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Havre, Montana, from 1966 to 1971, then returned to Idaho Falls, where she has lived ever since. She was a homemaker and mother and also worked as a surgical tech, a beautician, and a veterinary assistant. Clair preceded her in death January 24, 2007. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various capacities over the years, including Young Women’s, Relief Society, Primary, and Special Needs Seminary; most recently she was music leader in Relief Society. She was the Chief Election Judge of the 17th Precinct in Idaho Falls for 17 years. She enjoyed tatting, crocheting, gardening, refinishing furniture, quilting, music, cooking, and spending time with her family. Survivors include: Daughter: Michelle Killian of Idaho Falls, ID Son: Jason (Shannon) Killian of Twin Falls, ID Daughter: Mary Kay (Isaac) Ashton of Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Mary Elizabeth Stanger of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Lloyd Stanger of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Raymond Stanger of Grant, ID Brother: Calvin Stanger of Sunnyvale, CA Sister: Patricia Daniel of Des Moines, WA Sister: Janice Stephens of Blackfoot, ID Sister: Karen Hannah of Idaho Falls, ID 3 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2007, at the Idaho Falls LDS 24th Ward, 1155 East First Street, with Bishop Steve Hunter officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
