Bonnie Jean Humpherys, 71, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 1, 2013, at her daughter’s home in American Falls.
Bonnie was born August 6, 1942, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Wayne Rice and Rachael Elnore Wilson Rice. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Pocatello High School. She took her training as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical College.
In 1965, she married David Ray Humpherys and they were later divorced. To this union were born three children, Daniel, Diana, and Scott. Bonnie worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the State Hospital in Blackfoot.
Bonnie is survived by
Son, Daniel (Debbie) Humpherys of Idaho Falls, ID,
Daughter, Diana (Howard) Birrell of American Falls, ID,
Sister, Rachelle (Mike) Waldrop of Green Bay, WI.
Son, Scott (Elizabeth) Humpherys of Idaho Falls, ID,
10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Rice, mother, Rachael (Roy) Chapman, a brother, David Chapman, and a great granddaughter, McKenzie May Hamilton.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior, at Wood Funeral Home.
