Bonnie Rae Williams Dixon, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 22, 2016,at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation. Bonnie was born August 27, 1929, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ezra Lyle Williams and Eda Blaser Williams. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On February 26, 1947, she married Walter Dean Dixon in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They farmed in the New Sweden area and ranched in Lima, Montana. Together they raised five children. Bonnie was active in the Idaho Cowbelles, scouting, and was a 4-H Leader. She enjoyed bridge, knitting, quilting, crafts and finding and refinishing antiques. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She always worked hard and found the time to make things fun. Bonnie is survived by three sons, Robert Dean Dixon of Hillsborough, CA, Ryan Walter (Annick) Dixon of Idaho Falls, ID, James Corey (Penny) Dixon of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Karen Jan (Alan) Hoskins of Idaho Falls, ID; and daughter-in-law, Christine (Dennis) Dixon of Meridian, ID; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, her son, Dennis, her granddaughter, Angela, her parents, five brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 455 West Sunnyside Road, with Pastor Larry Cudmore officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in New Sweden Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

11:00 AM ,Thursday, December 29, 2016 First Evangelical Lutheran Church 455 West Sunnyside Road Idaho Falls, ID, Bonneville 83402 Notes: The family will visit with friends from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial in New Sweden Cemetery.
