Bonnie Jean Allgood Dineen, 73, of Ammon, passed away November 2, 2016, at her home. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice.
Bonnie was born June 9, 1943, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Merlin Glen Allgood and Rhea Lorraine Kington Allgood. She grew up and attended schools in Rexburg, then moved to Idaho Falls where she graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
On March 29, 1963, she married Dennis Dineen in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two sons, William and Dennis Chad. Bonnie and Dennis made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Bonnie was a homemaker and mother.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed making a home for her family, sewing, quilting, needlepoint, crocheting, doing ceramics, cooking and excelled at painting.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Dennis Dineen of Ammon, ID; son, William Anthony Dineen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Dennis Chad (Kim) Dineen of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Merlin Lane (Mary) Allgood of Boise, ID; sister, Gretta Mae (R.S.) Mannino of Mauiceville, TX. 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Taylor, Nathan, and Natalie Dineen
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016, at the Ammon Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon) prior to leaving for the cemetery.
