Bonnie Jean Coon, 53, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 16, 2018, at Lava Hot Springs.
Bonnie was born October 1, 1964, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Robert Eugene Stevenson and Carole Jeanne Bell Stevenson. She grew up and attended schools in Ogden and graduated from Bonneville High School in Ogden. She also attended Idaho State University.
On September 12, 1992, she married Michael Coon in Arco, Idaho. Bonnie and Michael made their home in Idaho Falls.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, camping, crafts, decorating, gardening and florist (flower lady).
Bonnie is survived by her mother, Carole Jeanne Stevenson; loving husband, Michael Coon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Skyler Coon of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Damien (Marie) Coon of Mackey, ID; son, Jeremiah (Timmery) Sampson of Idaho Falls, ID; son, William (Leslie) Marler of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Julie Rae Scheller of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Heidi Lynn Wheelwright of Idaho Falls, ID;
22 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Stevenson, Sr., and her brother, Robert Eugene Stevenson, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Parkwood LDS Ward, 395 2nd Street.
