BONNIE BALLARD ELKO, NV -- Bonnie Elaine Hall Ballard, 63, of Carlin, Nevada, died October 22, 2008, at Elko, Nevada, of a heart attack. She was born November 23, 1944, in Rigby, Idaho, to Floyd Hall and Gladys Collier Hall. She grew up in Rigby and attended Rigby High School. She married Gary Rex Ballard October 31, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They lived in Rigby, Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. She was a homemaker and mother. Gary died April 26, 2002. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bonnie enjoyed reading, television, dancing, and talking to her grandkids, Joe, Rosanna, Eric, Jessie, Tory, Josh, Shaylynn, Dakota, Isaac, Cody, Natalie, Erica, and Sarah. Survivors include: Daughter: Trina Russom, Salt Lake City, UT Son: Gary Trent (Sherrie) Ballard, Ammon, ID Son: Troy (Alexandria) Ballard, Murana, AZ Son: Alex (Miranda) Ballard, Clearfield, UT Daughter: Angelique (Jed) Brown, Carlin, NV Brother: Bob (Patsy) Hall of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Sheryl (Burdette) Hayes of Menan, ID Sister: Evalyn (Bob) Packard of Menan, ID Sister: Karleen (Lonnie) Johnson of Menan, ID Sister: Cleora Williams of Menan, ID Sister: Alice Porter of Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Marilea Hall of Washington, UT 13 Grandchildren & 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Trika Ballard, two sisters, Wilma Crow and Gayla Hall, and two brothers, Duane Hall and Ralph Hall. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2008, at the Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., both at Wood Funeral Home East Side.
