BODENE CARSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Bodene Peck Carson, 70, of Idaho Falls,
died October 14, 2004, at her home.
She was born April 24, 1934, in Shelley, Idaho, to Raymond
Moroni Peck and Gladys LaVetta Jensen Peck. She attended schools in Shelley
and graduated from Shelley High School in 1952.
In December of 1955, she married Lee Hugh Galloway. He
passed away in June of 1957. On August 26, 1963, she married Val M. Carson
in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple
in 1982. They made their home in Shelley. Later they moved to Merced,
California for six years, then Turlock, California for eight years. They
recently moved to Idaho Falls where they have since resided. She worked
at Young Drug , Reed Drug, and at Pillsbury for 18 years. She was a life
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Bodene loved reading, cooking, playing scrabble, doing crossword
puzzles and especially caring for her grandchildren.

Daughter: Val Beth (Brad) Darrington, Shelley, ID
Sister: Coy Hitz, Idaho Falls, ID
Sister: Velda Nelson, Idaho Falls, ID
9 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Fonda Harris.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday,
October 17, 2004, at the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will meet
with friends at the family home, 3144 Thayer Bridge Circle, Idaho Falls
from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday.
