Tomorrow
The tears flow down our cheeks, and our hearts are filled with sorrow.
Give our loved one just one more day.
Please dear Lord just wait until tomorrow.
But four Angles come down and sat where you lay.
One to guide you, one to guard you and two to carry you away.
Now your pain is gone and you’re at peace.
Your soul has departed and your body just went to sleep.
I know you’re now looking down on us as your departure is a very sad day,
but I almost smile for I can hear you laugh as you grin and say:
My silly friends, I am in a better place so wipe your tears away
Let there be love and laughter and no more sorrow,
For we will all be together again in the tomorrow.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Services at a later date.
